This song is built on a classic “Surfer” bass line. If you don’t have a piano with 88 keys, you can move the left hand up one octave at measure 1.
Your left hand is going to need some endurance to make it through this song. When you are first learning this song, don’t worry about playing it loud. That way, you can save your strength and your hands won’t get tense. Once you learn the notes, then you can add dynamics in later.
The dynamics you really need to watch out for are at measure 26-36. Pay really close attention to the accent marks (>). If a note has an accent, play it loud. If a note does not have an accent, play it soft.
