Today’s song is more difficult than usual and it will take some extra practice. The left hand in measures 6-16 is common in rock ‘n’ roll music, but you need a strong left hand to make it work. Thankfully, it’s repetitive so you can focus more on the right hand.
The most difficult spot for hand coordination is measures 30-45. I kept tripping up as I tried to play both hands together. As always, learn each hand separately and then combine them at a very slow tempo.
Measures 56-66 are easier and one reason I wrote it like that was to give your left hand a break. Make this section softer and then crescendo (get louder) as you’re moving into measure 68.
